“VULPECULIA” was named after the Latin for fox – “Vulpe” and Star constellation “Vulpecula”- meaning “Little Fox” discovered by Polish astronomer Johannes Hevelius.
Amazing wildlife photographer Richard Bowler once again allowed me to reference one of his photographs. I love Richard’s work and his passion for wildlife. Previously I had used his photo of a Hare for “Clock Watch”, another illustration in the Greenplume collection.
This time, it was a stunning photographic portrait of Richard’s beautiful friend Charlie who inspired the work. If you follow Richard on social media, you’ll know Charlie is definitely a super star!
The Greenplume Collection was exhibited at Hartlepool Art Gallery 2025.
