“The Captain Cook Birthplace Museum has worked with Greener Lavelle on a variety of projects over the years. Kim’s enthusiasm for all things Cook has seen bespoke sets of accurately detailed and robust dressing up costumes produced for school use at the museum. Furthermore an updated version of the museum’s education pack has also been produced. Kim has worked with community groups as part of a community focussed project for 16-24 year olds, guiding young people with an interest in a future in the arts and museums. This has included set dressing exhibits and supporting students to make props and costumes for a performance titled “the Ballad of Captain Cook.” Many of Kim’s props and sets still complement the current exhibits.”

“Kim is a strong advocate for accessibility within our cultural sector. Working with Kim, we reviewed current communication methods we use with our community participants and leaders, our contracted staff and freelancers with the aim to improve all communication strands to ensure we are providing documentation and delivering projects with accessibility as a key priority. Kim reviewed accessibility documents efficiently and provided clear and concise action points that we will use moving forward to ensure we break down as many barriers to participation as possible.”
Lisa Storey, Cultural Development and Programmes Manager, Redcar & Cleveland borough Council
“We have been working collaboratively with Kim for a number of years now, employing her skills as a Creative Director on various projects. Kim’s varied, specialist skills have helped us bring vague ideas into full colour life and there is no-one else we would trust giving free rein with our family business.
Kim has designed our business branding, exhibition themes and is always willing to give advice, talk through and develop ideas. We are lucky to know her and count her as a friend as well as a business partner.“

“Greener Lavelle is one of the most amazing companies I have had the pleasure of working with. Their ability to bring bright, bold and transformative ideas to fruition is one of the strongest I’ve seen within the North.
We have worked together on a number of projects, but seeing their interpretation of the Hartlepool Monkey go from design to reality was a thing of wonder. It is rare that both initial designs and finished products are of excellent quality, but Greener Lavelle has the unique ability to bring dreams to life!”
Aaron Bowman, Cultural Officer, Events Development Hartlepool Borough Council
“Working with the Greener Lavelle team has been a wonderful experience. Their expertise in their field represents some of the finest I have come across in the sector. Their enthusiasm for developing ideas whilst working in a very different way during a challenging time has been commendable. It has been a pleasure to connect with them in person and digitally and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the team.”
