When I was a kid, I thought I would write a book about monkeys. Illustrate it too. I used to collect soft to monkeys and generally I just love them. I never did finish that book.
However, Barbs was inspired by my own photo of a Barbary Macaque at Trentham Monkey Forest in Stoke on Trent – UK where you can walk amongst the wild monkeys who are roaming free. I wish we lived closer.
The GreenPlume Collection was exhibited at Hartlepool Art Gallery 2025.
