Tudor costumes for children showing differences in the clothing of the upper and lower classes.

Traditional sewing techniques such as pad stitching were used and attention to fabrics, colours and decoration was important throughout.  Underwear was also produced including a partlet, farthingale, petticoat and pair of effigy bodies for the upper class girl and an adult Tudor Noble Woman costume for museum staff was created which took inspiration from a painting in the Ferens Art Gallery .
